Several drivers were unaccounted for after a crash in a west side neighborhood on Tuesday night that caused substantial property damage.

Residents who live near the corner of Warren Avenue and Freemont Street said the two-vehicle wreck sounded like a bomb going off, 10TV's Tinos Ramos reported.

A blue pickup slammed into a brick wall before colliding with a parked van and a second vehicle crashed into a fence.

It happened at about 11:30 p.m.

"It looked like they were chasing each other," said neighbor Sade Thomas.  "They're flying down that corner."

Thomas said one of the men riding in the pickup appeared to have been injured.

"One of the guys was pulling the other person out of the truck and they ran," she said.

Thomas said another man fled the scene and was carrying a handgun, Ramos reported.

Police said on Wednesday that they were searching for at least four people in connection with the crash.

No arrests were made.
