The Franklin County Board of Elections said on Monday it sent letters to more than 4,000 voters who received reminder cards with incorrect information.

About 4,860 voters received the cards, the BOE said.

Some voters received reminder cards that listed incorrect names for Columbus City Schools being used as voting locations. The schools had been renamed since they were last used in the May election.

Other cards were sent out with the wrong address for a voting location in Columbus precincts 26-C and 26-D, the BOE said.

The voting location for Columbus precinct 27-A, at 3450 Medway Ave., was previously called Eastmoor Middle School, but has since been renamed the Columbus Preparatory School for Boys.   There are 995 registered voters in the precinct, the BOE said.

The voting location for Columbus precincts 55-A and 55-C, at 1390 Bryden Road, was called Franklin Middle School in the primary election but has been renamed Columbus Preparatory School for Girls.

There are 841 registered voters in 55-A and 1,308 in 55-C, the BOE said.

The second error transposed the addresses for Columbus precincts 26-C and 26-D.

The correct voting location for Columbus 26-C is the Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church located at 3161 East Fifth Ave.

The correct voting location for Columbus 26-D is Summit's Trace HealthCare Center located at 935 North Cassady Ave.

Registered voters can find their voting location and other information at the BOE Web site  or by calling the Board of Elections at 614-462-3100.
