The club's season-opening game against the San Jose Sharks live from Stockholm, Sweden on Oct. 8 at 3 p.m. will be carried on 97.1's sister station, The Fan at AM 1460, WBNS-AM.  The club's preseason contests, with the exception of the road game at Pittsburgh on Saturday, Sept. 25 and the exhibition being played in Malmo, Sweden on Tuesday, Oct. 5, can also be heard on 1460 The Fan.

CD101 at 102.5 FM (WWCD-FM) will carry Blue Jackets games which will not be broadcast by WBNS due to conflicts with Ohio State University football and men's basketball game broadcasts.  CD101 at 102.5 FM will carry its first regular-season game on Saturday, Oct. 9 at 3 p.m. (Eastern) as the Jackets wrap up their two-game set against the Sharks in Sweden.  CD101 at 102.5 FM will also carry the preseason road game at Pittsburgh on Saturday, Sept. 25 at 7 p.m.

Additional Blue Jackets programming on 97.1 The Fan will include "The Coach's Show with Scott Arniel," co-hosted by The Fan's Scott Torgersen and FOX Sports Ohio-Blue Jackets television announcer Jeff Rimer, on Wednesdays from 6-7 p.m. beginning on Oct. 13.  This season's first edition of "Blue Jackets Sunday Morning Skate," co-hosted by Bob McElligott and Blue Jackets Radio Network host Mark Wyant, is slated for Sept. 19 and may be heard each Sunday from 10-11 a.m. through the 2011 NHL Entry Draft weekend.

Fans can also tune in to 97.1 The Fan's "Common Man & The Torg Show" at 5:50 p.m. before weekday home games to hear George Matthews or Bob McElligott preview that night's opponent with a "Blue Jackets Breakdown."  In conjunction with each segment, one lucky listener will win a pair of tickets to the Blue Jackets' next home game.

"We're very pleased to continue relationships with the radio partners that have been with us since the start of our franchise and provide our fans the opportunity to follow the Blue Jackets through game coverage and ancillary programming," added Marc Gregory, Blue Jackets Vice President of Marketing.

"We are very proud to add the Blue Jackets game broadcasts to the lineup on 97.1 The Fan," stated Dave Van Stone, president and general manager of Sports Radio 97.1 The Fan/RadiOhio, Inc. "From game broadcasts, to the Coach's Show with Scott Arniel and regular reports on the team throughout the day, 97.1 The Fan is where fans can turn for in-depth Blue Jackets coverage throughout the season."

"We are excited to continue our partnership with the Blue Jackets as we make the transition to CD101's new signal at 102.5FM," said Randy Malloy, WWCD-FM Vice President and General Manager. "As Columbus' alternative station, we look forward to being central Ohio's 'alternative' for Blue Jackets hockey."

In addition to the broadcast agreement, the Blue Jackets also announced the Dispatch Printing Company's multiyear renewal as a Championship Partner.  Primary elements of the integrated partnership include a variety of signage and scoreboard features within Nationwide Arena as well as messaging presence within all four Chiller Ice Rinks.  The agreement also calls for sponsorship of Dispatch Family Value Pack, a special offer that includes game tickets, food and beverage vouchers and more.
