The village of West Jefferson on Tuesday voted to recall its mayor.
Mayor Scott Hockenbery was the subject of a recall election, after leading the village for
two years, 10TV News reported.
Village residents voted 66.7 percent 635 votes -- in favor of recalling Hockenbery, according to final, unofficial results from the Madison County Board of Elections.

The allegations against Hockenbery included ethics, mismanaging village money, and creating a hostile work environment.
Hockenbery denied all of the allegations.
The recall vote cost the village $10,000, 10TV News reported.
