St. Francis DeSales should get a boost this season on both sides of the football in the form of senior Chris Rock.
Rock is considered one of the top players in central Ohio. At 6 foot 5 and 240 lbs., he has already committed to play college football at the University of Michigan.
Before heading north, Rock will appear on both offense (tight end) and defense (defensive end) for the Stallions.
And yes - Rock is well aware that he shares the same name as a famous comedian.
"Ever since I was little kid, ever since Chris Rock became famous as a comedian," Rock said. "My mom always says I was named before he was famous."
But the question remains: Is Rock humorous?
"Sometimes I can be," he said. "I like to lighten the mood."
