Crash Along I-270 Sends 2 To Hospital

Two people were hospitalized on Thursday, after a serious crash on the city's south side.

Interstate 270 southbound was closed at Alum Creek Drive shortly before 6 p.m., as crews investigated the two-car crash, 10TV News reported.

The interstate was closed from I-70 to Alum Creek Drive. Traffic along I-270 south for several hours. It reopened shortly before 10:30 p.m.

Both people were transported to Grant Medical Center, one of them was in critical condition.
