Brian Green, Jr. was accused of street racing in November 2008, when he lost control of his car and struck another vehicle, 10TV's Cara Connelly reported.
Green's girlfriend, Kristen Pressel, and the driver of the other car, Nikki Hymes, both 18, were killed in the crash.

Green faces two counts of aggravated vehicular homicide.
Green and his father have very different accounts of what happened.
Green said his father, Brian Green, Sr., was driving the night of the crash, but Brian Green Sr. said in court that his son was driving, Connelly reported.
His testimony caused an emotional outburst in court.
Green was visibly upset and the judge had to send the jury out and give him time to calm down before his father's testimony could continue, Connelly reported.
The prosecution asked why Brian Green Sr., who admitted he does not have a good relationship with his son, let him drive his car.
"I'd been drinking and usually I don't like to drive," Green Sr. said. "So, I mean, I am that way to this day, even though I'm not drinking I let my girlfriend drive."
Green stood trial on the charges in October, but a mistrial was declared when a judge ruled that testimony mentioning Green's previous incarceration was prejudicial.
