Letter Sent Home To Parents

UPDATED: Wednesday February 3, 2010 7:20 PM

Dear Parents,

I am writing to you with unfortunate and disturbing news.  Just hours ago, The Upper Arlington Police Department informed us that Larry Dibble, Theatre Director, was arrested earlier today on charges of a sexual nature relating to alleged inappropriate contact with a former Wellington student.  We are fully cooperating with the Upper Arlington Police Department as they investigate this matter.

We will keep you informed as we learn more about this unfolding situation. Unfortunately, we do not know many details at this time.  Right now, as always, we are keeping our focus on our students, and on helping them cope with this extremely troubling news.

Tonight's performance of the Music Man is run by students.  The children and faculty have worked tirelessly to put on a great show.  With the assistance of other members of our Music and Theater departments, it is our plan to run the show as scheduled to honor their efforts.

If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.

Again, I will be in contact with you as often as possible regarding this situation.

Regards,

Robert Brisk | Head of School
