State Route 38 reopened around 3 p.m. Tuesday, after being shut down for a large gas leak, 10TV News reported.

The road was closed shortly after 1:15 p.m. Tuesday while authorities investigated a gas leak from a nearby manufacturing plant , sheriff's deputies said.

The leak occurred on S.R. 38 south of London when about 100 gallons of anhydrous ammonia was leaked from a truck turning into a nearby fertilizer plant.
