In honor of Veterans Day on Wednesday, federal, state and county offices will be closed and there will be no mail delivery.
However, Columbus City Schools and most other districts will be in session.
Several communities have celebrations planned.
There will be a wreath-laying ceremony at Green Lawn Cemetery at 11 a.m.
In Newark, a breakfast will be held for veterans at the American Legion Post 85 from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., and in Canal Winchester, a veterans photo display will be held at the municipal building on South High Street.
