Ohio State athletic director Gene Smith announced Wednesday night that the football team will wear special uniforms when they play at Michigan on Nov. 21.
According to a statement released by Smith, the team will pay tribute to the 1954 undefeated national championship team.
Earlier this week, an ESPN.com columnist wrote that the Buckeyes might wear new silver road jerseys when they played in November but the university denied the report.
