A city administrator was fired on Thursday after inappropriate material was found on his computer, 10TV News reported.

The police chief told 10TV News he fired building inspections administrator, Paul Lane, after finding the material on Lane's computer.

The chief would not elaborate on exactly what was found on the computer but did say Lane will not face criminal charges.

Lane is the second Pickerington city administrator to be fired recently.  City Manager Tim Hansley was fired last month.
