Don Curl, who was a four-year member of The Ohio State University Marching Band, died this week, 10TV News reported.

Curl, 93, who was part of the university's first performance of "Script Ohio," once dotted the "i."

Even after graduating and becoming an engineer, Curl played trumpet for nearly 70 more years.

There is even a street named after Curl on the north end of campus.

OSU band director Jon Woods is scheduled to deliver Curl's eulogy at his funeral on Monday.
