A home health care provider faces a criminal investigation after the mother of a 16-year-old cerebral palsy patient used a hidden camera to record her behavior, 10TV's Maureen Kocot reported on Tuesday.
The caregiver -- who is not being identified because she does not face charges -- has also been terminated from her position with Easter Seals.
Pam Allison said she grew suspicious of the caregiver when her daughter, Jamie, became upset at the sight of her.
Jamie cannot talk, but her actions left her mother concerned.

"She flipped out," Allison said of her daughter. "Pulled my hair, scratched me, left these marks on me."
Allison said she purchased a nanny camera and hid it in a teddy bear to see what was happening when the caregiver was left alone with her daughter.
"It broke my heart," Allison said. "How could someone who supposedly loves special-needs children be so mean?"
The video showed the caregiver take away the girl's magazine, and then wrestle with her when the disabled teen became upset, Kocot reported.
Later, the caregiver can be seen holding a blanket over the girl and roughly ripping a comb through her hair.
Allison, who said her daughter should not be left alone for more than a couple of minutes, said she was most upset when the caregiver left Jamie in the bathtub and then took a 20-minute nap on a sofa, Kocot reported.
"I'm furious and appalled," Allison said.
Easter Seals said the caregiver was fired on Tuesday. The agency is now cooperating with an investigation by the Ross County Sheriff's Office, Kocot reported.
Allison said she did not blame the agency for what happened, and wanted Easter Seals to continue providing care for her daughter.
