Upper Arlington finished 10-2 in 2008 and won its league, before falling in the second round of the playoffs.

The Bears, who open against St. Thomas Aquinas of Florida on Aug. 29, are hoping to pick up where they left off.

"I expect to win the league again, two years in a row, and the team's looking really good," said senior fullback/linebacker Danny Botomogno.

"We've got about 115 sophomores through seniors, so we expect a lot out of them," said Mike Golden, the team's head coach.  "It's Upper Arlington so it always has high a expectation here."
