The state fire marshal put out a call on Thursday for a man who they said was inside his home as it was burning to the ground.
Bloom Township firefighters were battling the fire at a Perrill Drive home late Wednesday afternoon. According to firefighters, it was believed that the resident, David C. Morse, was inside the home.
Search and rescue crews were not able to located Morse, 54, in the home after multiple attempts, 10TV's Maureen Kocot reported.

Two dogs were inside the home and died in the blaze. Authorities said that Morse's car was parked at the home.
Investigators searched the home Wednesday night and again on Thursday but found no signs of Morse.
"The home is a complete loss," said Shane Cartmill, with the state fire marshal's office. "The cause is undetermined. They had found no evidence of criminal intent in the fire investigation portion of this. However we really don't have all the answers and won't know until we find Mr. Morse."
Investigators said that they were not sure whether Morse left the house on his own or if he was the victim of foul play, Kocot reported.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact the State Fire Marshall at 800-589-2728 or the Pickaway County Sheriff's Office at 800-472-6033.
