Authorities hope images from surveillance video can help them identify a woman who they believe has stolen several hundred dollars worth of chewing gum from the gift shop inside Nationwide Children's Hospital.

According to police, the woman stole packs of gum from the gift shop three times in June, 10TV News reported.

The thefts added up to more than $600, investigators said.

"I would say, in this case, given the large quantities, she must obviously be reselling it because she's not chewing $650 worth of gum," said assistant city prosecutor Bill Hedrick.

Authorities said the woman wore the same clothes during each of the thefts.

Anyone with information was asked to call Columbus police.
