A 12-year-old convicted in a south side arson was sentenced to two years probation on Monday.

Ryan Parsley was arrested in connection with a vacant house fire on Innis Avenue in January, 10TV News reported.

Investigators said Parsley escaped from juvenile custody in March. He turned himself in to police in April.

A judge sentenced Parsley to intensive probation and set strict rules because of his record and escape from the juvenile detention center.
