10TV and ONN combined to sweep all three "Outstanding Operations" awards this year, placing first or second, respectively, in all.

Central Ohio's News Leader again led all stations/operations in the market, with 15 awards for journalistic excellence.

10TV was honored with first place awards for "Outstanding News Operation," "Outstanding Weather Operation," "Best Use of Photography," "Best Producer," "Best Broadcast Writing," "Best Web Site," "Best Documentary or Series," "Best Feature Reporting," "Best Spot News Coverage" and "Extraordinary Coverage of a Scheduled Event."

Reporter Lindsey Seavert was recognized as "Best Reporter."  10TV earned second place awards for "Best Broadcast Writing," "Best Enterprise Reporting" and "Outstanding Sports Operation."  Dan Fronczak was awarded second place for "Best Sports Broadcaster."

"I think the number of awards and categories won are truly reflective of our staff's talents and hard work," said John Cardenas, WBNS-10TV's news director.

ONN received eight awards, three of which were first place.  ONN anchor Mike Kallmeyer claimed his third Ohio AP "Best Anchor" award and the ONN sports team picked up its third award for "Outstanding Sports Operation."  ONN also won a first place award for "Best Regularly Scheduled Sports," and second place awards for "Outstanding News Operation," "Outstanding Weather Operation," "Best Regularly Scheduled Weather," "Best Photographer" and "Extraordinary Coverage of a Scheduled Event."

"It is tremendously gratifying to see our staff's hard work recognized in this way," said Greg Fisher, ONN's news director.  "These awards affirm ONN's commitment to outstanding programming and high quality content you simply can't find anywhere else in Ohio."
