A woman told police she was assaulted in a south side park early Thursday.
The woman said a man with a gun approached her in Schiller Park, located near German Village, at about midnight and hit her with a bottle.
Police said as many as five men may have been involved in the incident, 10TV News reported.

The woman was transported to the hospital. Details on her condition were not immediately released.
