The 2009 Race for the Cure will take place downtown on Saturday. The following streets will be closed for the event:
- Broad Street will close between High and Third streets beginning at 6 p.m. Friday night.
- Front Street will be closed between Broad and Town streets at 5:30 a.m. Saturday for formation.
- Roads along the race route will begin closing at approximately 8:15 a.m. There will be
long rolling closures along the race course.
1 Mile Fun Walk Course: - Begins at City Hall (Corner of Broad and Front streets)
- North on Front Street to Nationwide Boulevard
- East on Nationwide Boulevard to High Street
- South on High Street to the Ohio Statehouse
5K Race Course: - Begins at City Hall (Corner of Broad and Front streets)
- North on Front Street to Long Street
- West on Long Street to Neil Avenue
- North on Neil Avenue to Vine Street
- East on Vine Street to Park Street
- North on Park Street to Goodale Street
- West on Goodale Street to Dennison Avenue
- North on Dennison Avenue to Buttles Avenue
- East on Buttles Avenue to High Street
- South on High Street to the Ohio Statehouse
