Woman Fined $1,000 For Voting Twice In Presidential Election

A Gahanna woman who voted twice during November's presidential election pleaded guilty Friday to voter fraud, 10TV News reported.

Cathy LaMaster, 44, was fined $1,000 and given a suspended six-month jail sentence. She was also ordered to pay court costs.

Authorities said LaMaster voted twice using absentee ballots.

One registration was submitted under LeMaster's name, while another was submitted under her daughter's name in Guernsey County.

LeMaster's daughter was not charged.
