Investigators have yet to determine what sparked a fire Saturday night at a vacant Chase Founder and Manufacturing Company building on the city's south side.
Firefighters were called to the complex, located on Parsons Avenue near Frank Road, at about 9 p.m.
"I heard sirens and opened my curtains," said Katie Tolliver, who lives nearby. "I opened it and it was just flames everywhere!"
The fire was contained about two hours after authorities shut down a portion of Parsons Avenue and closed a nearby set of railroad tracks.

No one was inside the building at the time of the blaze, but a firefighter did suffer injuries when he fell from a fire truck, 10TV News reported.
Details on his condition were not immediately available.
No residents were evacuated from their homes.
Tolliver said this isn't the first fire she's witnessed in the area. She said the duplex across from her home was set on fire Friday night.
Investigators said dozens of fires in the area were set at vacant properties in the last year.
"You never know what's going to happen with a fire," Tolliver said, "Even with the firefighters, I was worried about them Friday because they were up in the second level and there were still flames shooting out of the attic."
Some firefighters remained at the factory early Sunday morning putting out hotspots.
