A single-car crash Tuesday night on the city's east side injured a woman and killed her 2-year-old daughter.
Jessica McKinley was driving her Chevrolet Beretta north on Nelson Road at about 8:50 p.m. when she went off the side of the road and struck a traffic barrier, 10TV News reported.
McKinley, 22, was transported to Grant Medical Center in stable condition, police said. Her 2-year-old daughter was transported to Nationwide Children's Hospital.
The toddler suffered a skull fracture. She died early Wednesday morning as a result of her injuries.
It was not immediately known if weather was a factor in the crash.
