The southbound lanes of High Street were closed in downtown Columbus after a glass pane fell
from the Huntington Bank building Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred shortly after 9 a.m., and closed the road for about two hours, 10TV's Cara
According to police, a glass window from the building's 35th floor fell to the street. No
injuries were reported.
"I saw all the police tape and I didn't realize it was a pane of glass that had fallen. It's
really scary," said Susan Keith, who was downtown when the incident happened.
The corner of Broad and High reopened to traffic at about 11:30 a.m. The sidewalk on South High
Street where the glass fell reopened at noon, according to Paving The Way.
