Ohio State Football Player Arrested After Bar Fight

Ohio State defensive back Eugene Clifford faces assault charges after allegedly punching two men in the face early Friday.

According to police reports received by the Cincinnati Enquirer, Clifford, 20, struck two employees who were trying to break up a fight at a bar located near the University of Cincinnati campus.

In court on Monday, Clifford pleaded not guilty to two misdemeanor assault charges, 10TV News reported.

He was released from custody after posting bond.

Clifford was suspended for an undisclosed violation of team rules in December and was forced to sit out the Buckeyes' national championship game against LSU.

He also sat out April's jersey scrimmage after an unspecified violation.
