City council approved funding for the mayor's citywide curfew initiative on Monday night.
Under the new law, anyone under 18 years old who is caught out after midnight will risk being taken into custody and sent to the curfew center, 10TV News reported.
The downtown YMCA, which already houses a truancy center, will take in the curfew violators.
City council approved $75,000 to help staff the holding station.
The midnight curfew takes effect on June 5.
