Police said on Tuesday that no criminal charges would be filed against Anthony Gutierrez, who is at
the center of a sexual harassment case inside Attorney General Marc Dann's office.
Cindy Stankoski, a former staffer in Dann’s office, filed a criminal complaint in the case on
Friday, 10TV News reported.
Stankoski, 26, said that after a night of drinking with Gutierrez, the office's general
services supervisor, she passed out in the bedroom of his Dublin condominium and awakened next to
him with her pants unbuttoned.
According to police, detectives concluded their interview with Stankoski and her attorney, and
then met with the chain of command to discuss the facts of the case.
Police said that they found no evidence that criminal acts took place and no charges would be
filed.
Gutierrez, who has been suspended in connection to the complaint, has refused to comment on
the case.
Stankoski and another staffer, Vanessa Stout, 26, filed a formal complaint in Cleveland with
the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, 10TV's Paul Aker reported.
