"I got as far as the end of the driveway here and I couldn't make myself go across," said
Patricia Cash, a neighbor. "There was nothing they could do. There was nothing the fire department
could do. There was nothing anybody could do. It was gone."
"It kind of gives you a sick feeling in your stomach," David Cash said.
Firefighters found Billi Romans, 51, and her children Ami and Caleb, 16 and 12 years old,
near the back door. All three were killed in the fire, 10TV's Brittany Westbrook reported.
Romans' husband, Peter, was taken to The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus and
was treated for smoke inhalation.
"I don't know how the man could go on after losing his wife and two children," Patricia Cash
At the Grove City Church of the Nazarene, Peter Romans will have help. Sunday's service focused
on the faithful family of four, Westbrook reported.
"He needs your prayers," said Rev. Mark Fuller. "You're about the only family he has left. Let's
be a good family for Pete."
Peter Romans told a fire inspector that the fire started in the family's SUV, which was parked
in the driveway next to the house, according to The Columbus Dispatch.
Investigators said the exact cause of the fire had not been determined.
