A search warrant obtained by 10TV on Wednesday revealed the evidence that led police to arrest a
teenager for his twin's slaying.
Derris Lewis, 18, was taken into custody last week and charged with aggravated murder, robbery
and kidnapping, 10TV News reported.
Investigators said that Lewis was involved in the shooting and killing of his brother, Dennis,
during an attempted robbery on Jan. 18.
According to a search warrant, Dennis Lewis was "struck over the head with a bar stool," causing
bloodshed, 10TV's Maureen Kocot reported.

Investigators recovered a bloody handprint from Dennis Lewis' bedroom wall, which a crime lab
positively identified as belonging to Derris Lewis, the warrant stated.
Derris Lewis' family told 10TV that they do not believe the charges against him.
"We have thoroughly considered the charges filed against him," said the twins' cousin, Robert
Lewis. "We have thoroughly considered the theories and arguments of the police. Derris would have
no conceivable motive to do any of this."
A hearing is scheduled for March 12 to decide whether Derris Lewis should be tried as an adult,
