Ashleigh Barry

Ashleigh Barry is an Edward R. Murrow, Emmy and Associated Press Award winning journalist. She joined Central Ohio’s News Leader in 2010 after spending five years as an anchor/reporter at the CBS affiliate in Milwaukee. Ashleigh has also anchored and reported at stations broadcasting in the New York, NY and Lubbock, Texas markets.

She has an extensive production background as a producer at the Fox News Channel, MSNBC and NNS; an ABC, CBS and Fox News cooperative in New York. She graduated with honors from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst where she served internships at both "The Today Show" and "Dateline" at the NBC Studios in New York.

Ashleigh is a downhill ski racer and a USTA Certified Tennis Instructor. She's also a strong supporter of the pet rescue mission, and has adopted K-9's from the New York, Rock County, WI and Wisconsin Humane Societies. Ashleigh thanks the central Ohio community for the warm welcome they continue to extend.
