There will be 11 block parties held at various times from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. all around the city.
Columbus Police officers will be participating in the annual event which will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2013, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Over 150 community events are planned throughout the Columbus area including live music, porch light vigils, cookouts and multiple kid-friendly activities.

The event will take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Avondale Elementary schoolyard, located at 141 Hawkes Ave. in Columbus.
The event will take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at McNamara Park, located at 7049 Big Walnut Road.
The main event will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Meadow Grove Neighborhood at Henceroth Park, which is located at 2075 Mallow Ln.
The city is encouraging every neighborhood in Grove City to participate in National Night Out.
The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Hilliard East Pool Park.
The city will invite the surrounding neighborhoods and Buckeye Nissan has already confirmed it will provide an officer dunk tank.
9th Annual South Ogden Avenue National Night Out Neighborhood Festival will be held from 6-8:30 p.m.
The National Night Out, “Taking Back the Streets” event will be held on the corner of Morton and Logan Street in Jackson.
The event is scheduled to run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with music, fun and many demonstrations.
Flashlight walk from Creekview Intermediate Elementary School to the Mill Valley Plaza starting at 8:30 p.m. and ending at 10:00 p.m.
The event will take place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
It is the 30th anniversary of Newark’s first National Night Out.
Neighborhoods are encouraged to have their own block parties.
The event will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Victory Park.
There will be free hot dogs, family-friendly activities and live music.
There will be an event from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the picnic tables in Goodale Park near the playground.
The event will be a dessert potluck.
Multiple block parties will happen from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. for the event.

The event will be held at 6 p.m. on August 1 at the Holt Civic Association, located at 2128 Toni St.
The event, hosted by Officer Floyd and the Citizens Academy Alumni Association, will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Selby Park.
