We'll get a taste of Indian Summer this weekend with highs around 70 today and into the mid 70s on Sunday. The National Weather Service deinfition for Indian Summer is simple--an unseasonably warm period near the middle of autumn, usually following a substantial period of cool weather. Many of us had our first frosts and freezes this past week. The good news is we won't be experiencing overnight lows this weekend as cold as they have been. The warmth is ahead of a cold front that will bring a chance for some strong storms late in the day on Sunday. We'll be keeping a close eye on that potential. Enjoy the warmth while it's here!
