The computer models are showing rain showers becoming likely as we head into tonight. We definitely can still use the rain. Despite running about a half inch above normal so far this month in Columbus, we're still more than 4 inches below normal in terms of precipitation for the year.
Areas across central Ohio can expect to see about .25-.50 inches of rain tonight into tomorrow morning. Southeast Ohio looks to be the big winner from this system. Rainfall totals of an inch or more will be possible across southern and southeast Ohio. The rain will begin to taper off Tuesday afternoon. We'll be left with breezy and cool conditions with highs in the low to mid 60s.
