Brightening skies and more seasonable temperatures return today in the wake of a cold front that only brought scattered showers to the state overnight into this morning. As high pressure returns, the weekend looks warm and dry with another cold front approaching by Sunday night bringing another slim chance for showers and storms and a big cool down early next week.
