Delegates here in Tampa for the Republican National Convention wasted little time getting down to the business of rallying behind Mitt Romney. After worries over Tropical Storm Isaac, they are really trying to return focus to their big week here and the candidate, Mitt Romney. This afternoon the very controlled program got off script when RNC chair Reince Priebus refused to allow for more Ron Paul delegates. For a few minutes there was chaos and chanting on the floor-- old school convention style. Once order was restored, it was time for the roll call-- which no matter the political party, I always find interesting and entertaining as speakers boast of their respective state's greatness. No exception here in Tampa-- the state of New Jersey put Mitt Romney over the required 1144 delegate votes for the party's nomination at 1150.
