Summertime means the days are longer and I always like to maximize how much daylight and time I have for workouts. But there are also some sneaky ways to fit in more.
- Morning walk: If you go out to get the paper in the morning, you’re already out. Take a walk around the block before you read it.
- Jumping jacks during commercials: You can get your heart rate up in less than 3 minutes.
- Turn the kids' practice time into your practice time: Many times I will drop one of my kids at a practice and then go work out for the same amount of time someplace nearby.
