Woman Wanted In Reporter Hit & Run Surrenders To Police


A woman who allegedly struck a local television reporter with a vehicle has surrendered to police.

Teresa Peters, 27, turned herself in Wednesday morning, several hours after authorities found the vehicle used in the incident.

Tuesday night, WSYX reporter Steve Levine was attempting to interview a woman in an alley just off West Neff Avenue when police say witnesses saw the woman run him over with her car.

Levine was transported to Grant Medical Center with a broken leg and other injuries.
