Woman Wanted On Abduction Charge Turns Self In

A woman surrendered to the Newcomerstown Police Department late Monday after a warrant was issued for her arrest in connection with an alleged abduction.

Dianna L. Howell, 62, was wanted after allegedly abducting an adult from Belmont County on Monday.

According to the Zanesville Times Recorder, the adult was found safe. Police told the paper that Howell was familiar with the person who she allegedly abducted.

Holland turned herself in at a Wendy’s restaurant along Interstate 77 and hid in the manager’s office until police arrived, according to the Times Recorder.
