Woman Pistol-Whipped During Home Invasion

A woman was taken to the hospital after a robber pistol-whipped her.

This happened around 1:45 a.m. Monday at an apartment on Eddington Drive near Cleveland and Innis Roads in north Columbus.

Columbus Police said two people broke into the woman’s home.  One of them had a handgun.

It is unclear how severe the victim’s injuries were from the attack.  She was transported to Riverside Hospital.

It is not known what the robbers may have stolen from the home.
