A woman has been indicted six months after troopers say she hit and killed a woman who was riding her bicycle.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says Cydney Troyer struck 57-year-old Martha Shaw in September along 13351 County Home Road in Marysville. Shaw later died at Memorial Hospital in Union County.

Troyer stopped at the scene. At the time of the crash, troopers did not suspect she was impaired.

On March 10, the Union County Prosecutor indicted Troyer on one count of vehicular homicide. She is due in court for arraignment on April 3.

Court documents do not reveal the evidence the prosecutor used to indict Troyer. He declined to comment to Marysville News.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says Troyer's tests showed no alcohol was in her system. Some prescriptions drugs did show up, but it was within normal limits.

Shaw's husband says he met with Troyer and believes the crash was an accident.
