Woman Flags Down Help After She Says She Was Raped

Police are investigating a rape report, after a woman says she was attacked in north Columbus.

Officers say the woman, in her 20s, flagged down an employee at a business at Cleveland Avenue and Morse Road as he got out of his car around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Columbus Police and Clintonville firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene.  They tell 10TV the woman was shaken up and wanted to speak to a female officer.

Medics took her to an area hospital.

Officers are investigating in the area of Tamarack Boulevard and Morse Road, where the woman told them the attack took place.
