Woman Dies Day After Crash That Closed I-70 For Hours


A woman was pronounced dead on Wednesday, just one day after a large crash east of Downtown Columbus.

On Tuesday, three vehicles traveling westbound on Interstate 70 shortly before 6 p.m. collided.

Police said that a vehicle driven by Liz Duncan, 49, struck two other vehicles.

Cathy M. Warner was driving one of the vehicles that was struck.

Warner, 63, was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition.

She was pronounced dead on Wednesday evening.

Police said that the crash remained under investigation.
