Woman Critically Injured In Shooting


Columbus Police are searching for the person responsible for shooting a woman Saturday night in southeast Columbus.

Police say 29-year-old Cassie McClain left her mother’s house in the 2800 block of Tennyson Boulevard just after 10 p.m. and was seen talking to a man in her car.

Witnesses say they heard an argument, then a gunshot.

Someone then drove McClain to the area of Old Courtright Road and Kimberly Parkway, where medics responded.

She is listed in critical condition.

The shooter has not been caught.
