Woman Arrested In Connection With Electronics, Energy Drink Thefts

One of two woman accused of stealing cartloads of electronics from a Lewis Center Walmart store has been arrested, according to police.

Candace Collins was caught after allegedly taking a cart with a 30-gallon tub of energy drinks out the door of a Meijer in Lewis Center on Tuesday.

Deputies caught up with her at U.S. Route 23 and Powell Road and arrested her for theft and possession of drug abuse instruments.

Detectives said Collins was the same woman seen in surveillance video taking thousands of dollars in electronics equipment Monday from a Walmart.

In all, an Xbox, Wii gaming system and an HP computer were stolen from the store, according to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities are still looking for another allegedly woman involved in the electronics theft who was also caught on video Monday allegedly taking baby formula from a Columbus area Meijer.
