A woman is charged with felonious assault for allegedly cutting another woman with a box cutter in August.

According to court documents, Angela Nicole Camara was inside a gas station in the 4700 block of Refugee Road on Aug. 26 and got into a confrontation with another woman who allegedly cut in front of Camara in line.

Camara then allegedly used a box cutter to attack the woman, cutting her in the face, chest and arm.

The woman, whose children were present at the time of the alleged attack, had to get 50 stitches as a result of the alleged crime.

Camera entered a not guilty plea in court on Thursday. She says she used the box cutter in self-defense.
