A cold front will move into the state Sunday evening and bring with it numerous showers and perhaps a rumble or two of thunder. Showers will linger into the early morning hours Monday. Up to a quarter of an inch of rain is possible overnight. Skies will begin to clear Monday with early temperatures in the upper 40s. It will turn cooler and windy through the day with wind gusts up to 40 mph possible.
It will be cold and blustery Monday night with overnight lows falling into the 20s with wind chill readings likely in the teens. Sunshine and seasonable temperatures are in the forecast Tuesday.
We are watching a storm system which should pass just south of Ohio on Wednesday. There is a chance it could spread some light rain or snow into southern Ohio on Wednesday as the storm moves by. We will be monitoring to see if the storm tracks farther north, which would bring a better chance for rain and/or snow midweek.
