Franklin County Public Health (FCPH) says it has confirmed cases of West Nile Virus in Dublin.  This comes after FCPH discovered the cases in traps set weekly throughout the city.

In response, FCPH will be spraying areas of western Dublin, including south of Post Road & west of I-270, beginning Thursday night at 8:45 p.m.

To combat the spread of the virus, health officials encourage residents to wear insect repellant containing DEET, limit outdoor activity after dusk, and eliminate standing water around their home.
