Warmer air is arriving in central Ohio and although it will be a cool night, it will not be as cold as last night. Overnight lows will drop back into the middle to upper 30s by morning under mostly clear skies. Patchy areas of frost will be possible in rural areas, mainly north and east of Columbus. Also, a few meteors may also be visible overnight as the Lyrid Meteor Shower peaks.
Sunshine will return as we start the workweek with a pleasant afternoon on Monday. High temperatures will reach into the middle 60s. Clouds will be on the increase Tuesday but temperatures will still rise with a high near 70 degrees. A frontal boundary will bring the threat for showers and a few thunderstorms Tuesday night and into Wednesday. Cooler air will filter back into central Ohio behind the front midweek.
