Vote Could Mean Road Projects, Thousands Of New Jobs For Ohio

The state’s Transportation Review Advisory Council voted to put Gov. John Kasich’s Jobs and Transportation plan into motion.

The commission gave final approval to the plan, which could create 60,000 new jobs and help grow the state’s economy through infrastructure projects.

Some of the projects that are now slated to move forward had been delayed by 10 or more years.

Some of those projects could now start in the fall, according to Kasich’s office.
